Analytical Review “Energy and Raw Material Markets of the Global South” (October 2024)
There are two republics of the Congo on the political map of Africa: the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville) and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Kinshasa). Despite their different economic models, both countries face the problems of raw material-oriented economies focused on the export of primary raw materials. Increasing income could help both Congos develop human capital and processing industries, which would contribute to industrial development.
